During my final year at university i painted a series of works on clear perspex. Much like cel animation, the painting is done on the reverse side of the perspex! In gallery space the work is suspended from the ceiling allowing visitors to see the clean cut image and round to the back where the layered and textured back forms a distorted abstract image! Its a strange thing to be able to step round your painting and see it from the other side!

Great job and I wish I could have seen the original in its museum setting. The technique you described is one I had never heard of (my university days were 50+ years ago...lol) and fascinated me. Top marks and thanks for sharing.

Awesome painting. Where is the original on display? I've never seen a painting created with that technique before.

Sweet piece of work and a high level of craft. It feels quite 'grim' - just like war. Interesting technique and certainly admirable. Thanks a lot.

"we've got to give the 'surge' a chance. i'm willing to give it a couple of more months, but if there is no progress at that time then...by golly..we'll just....you know..we'll just have to wait some more! but i'm not kidding! if nothing happens after THAT then they'd better watch out because there won't be another 'surge' until the NEXT one"!!!
