My 2nd attempt at my Caedes Deck card! While i was walking home from my friends house tonight i started making this picture in my head! Just playing around and seeing what i can come up with! Plain and simple this time! with a hint of GRiM! The full card can be seen HERE and my stock has come from stock.xchng and can be seen unedited HERE I've done a simple removal of the lines which you can see HERE and I've also done an alternative colour variation, which can be seen HERE. Please let me know what you think!

Thank you! Getting the cards printed out is definitely being considered! It's certainl my wish that we can get them available to the Caedes masses!

The folded and wrinkled background seems a bit much. Maybe without the two folds that cross in the center? Otherwise an excellent job on this one.

The work of art may have a moral effect, but to demand moral purpose from an artist is to make him ruin his work. (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe - 1832)

Wow- looks sweet- I think I preferred the dark cyan of the other card- but this is definately very good. I think I agree with Piner though about the two main folds. Nice job with the colors blending.

agrre with the comment about the folds, but i like the work. grimtastic indeed, loverly colours & composition, not sure about the the actual deck being used as aplatform for the image, but i understand the difference & it does make a good change from the usual dead on image :~)

I think this is just awesome. I do agree on that folding business but the texture there in general is top notch!

Stunning stuff. I have to say this is my favourite out the two only because it's a bit easier to decipher, otherwise I wouldn't like to choose.

Cheers.........

Thanks very much guys! i had some spare time so i took your advice and ive reworked the image! took a bit of work to get rid of the folds but still retain the textures! but im pretty pleased with the results! I've done a simple removal of the lines which you can see HERE and I've also done an alternative colour variation, which can be seen HERE.

Please let me know what you think!

Going for the revised red one. I still like the sword image though. It "suits" you. Perhaps putting a spade shaped something or other just above the handle guard on the sword itself would make it look a little less obscure?
