This is pretty cool. The manipulation is really good for this image and the tone of color looks neat with it. 10/10

I thought of "End of Eden"... isn't that what the place in the background is called? Or maybe "2001 a space oddessy".

Thanks everyone! All good guesses, but no ones nailed it yet! That is the eden project in the background, but it been used for its form and structure rather than it's namesake!

It reminds me of the scene towards the end of "Total Recall" and doing a quick research on google, I found the original, a short, 20 page story from Selected Stories of Philip K. Dick, called "We Can Remember It For You Wholesale"... I'm guessing I'm not that close either... ^_^

Kim Stanley Robinson, first book in his science-fiction Mars trilogy "Red Mars" (1993)? I'm sorry to say I didn't read it though so I have no clue if those domes are in the story... ^_^

DING DING DING! we have a winner.. good work Klas.. Its a good read if you have the time, but then im a sucker for sci-fi! And yes, later on in the book the colonists use rather flimsy 'tents' to cover topside cities and compounds, whilst terraforming is under way!

Hehe... ^_^ What do you know! I love sci-fi too but it's been a while since I had the luxury of reading a book just for pleasure... What a sad life I must lead. :P

Oh, and I almost forgot to say: Really good work on this image Graeme. Top notch doesn't cut it for a description. You are getting way too good at this. I do hope you can make a living out of this talent of yours.
