Have had this kicking around on the hard drive for a while now. Taken a few summers ago at Ocean City, MD. Subject is my future nephew.

I get a serious art vibe from this photograph - elegant, svelt black hat with a hint of grey/mauve on a child looking away from the camera, with primal textures on the swimtrunks, contrasted by sandy neutral beiges and soft whites and blues from the water, with a dark outlining border, give me impressions of the delicate balance between order and chaos, something primordial yet sophisticated, wild and fascinating, yet, refined. I love it. This is very good work. Keep it up! Faved.

This is just precious!! To see the movement of this little guy while near the water. I can feel his fun side and feel the day at the beach. I live at the Pacific Ocean..so I love that too.
The colours are perfect, your photo is very sharp. I love his little black hat. But I am not so sure of the wide black framing. I like a frame here, but feel that one is a bit heavy. But thank you for a lovely photo. Verena
