This does not look like it belongs in Colorado! It's still a very nice shot. I like the stories you can form in your mind from it.

It a very good shot and your idea played out well. I will however agree with someone above in that it is a little too bright. It would be nice to see some more of those darker colors I know they are there!

This reminds me of Masada, a fortress built in the desert of Israel, overlooking the Dead Sea. Very nice picture.
