This was discovered by the famous Martian archaeologist Trudet Magtra in the year 2074. Mars Artefact 4, known to the general public as The Eternal Marstini, is the strongest indication we have of the heights to which Martian technology rose. The artefact, when viewed, appears to be a small sculpture of some smooth translucent ceramic material but when taken in the hand the artefact starts to flow like a liquid. The "flow" emerges from the top of the artefact "falls" like a fluid and then rejoins the artefact at it's base. One (Fatally impetuous and poorly overseen.) post grad student took a gulp of the flow when it was first unpackaged in the labs of the Lunar Uni. He smiled, burped and then collapsed to the floor as a student sized pile of Mars dust. (The university denies this event ever took place. Of course.) For more information consult the extensive (But frankly thin on facts and high on speculation.) articles on this artefact in Ed 2 of Encyclopaedia Lunariticus.
