This image was taken just outside of Chiang Mai, Thailand, and is of Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, an important Buddhist temple. Built from 1367-1388, it is situated on top of Suthep Mountain, and reportedly houses one half of a relic thought to be one of Buddha's bones.

This is a great photo, the the hand and peaceful face are really very beautiful. It would be neat if you tried some different background colors. I think navy blue or even black would be cool to try. Nice job, your gallery also has some other great shots. [ Now we need some shots of the legislative building, the old Bay and maybe Portage avenue downtown on a saturday night (scarry) and all a joke]. Glen's new bridge with the Sal's may be a humorous snap, because such a strange combo could only happen in Winnipeg.
