This image was taken in Botswana on safari. These little frogs (about 2 cm long; there's a second one in the background on the right) are called reed frogs (because of their preferred perch), or bell frogs, as they provided the beautiful soothing soundtrack to the evening and night in the Okavango Delta.

When I cover the right hand reed with my hand the image becomes more attractive, just a suggestion. The colours and clarity are excellent, the subject fascinating. I wonder if these frogs are as noisy as our local midget frogs, which make a noise way out of proportion to their body size.

Beautiful frogs these are. I have never personally seen one. I'm so glad you posted this.I bet they do sound like a symphony when they gather for the evening. You've captured this little fella at his best.
