I added texture to two layers of background and fuzzy bordered them in gimp before pasting the conductor over the second background. I also snatched him from his original background by making it transparent so that I could put him back in several positions to make him more substantial. Before pasting the several clones, I added texture, night filter, and sunset filter.

Oh, creativity at work here! Thanks for your introduction-it sounds like this took alot of work, and it must have been worth it, as this is wonderful.The design is fabulous-good render of a conductor.Pleasing lines in the design & vibrant colors.The frame work is super.I like that texture look of the dark blue-and the border & background fit this image perfectly. Nicely matched border whites and pleasing background print. Alot to like here! SuperDuper job :))
