This is a photo I took at Niagara Falls (New York side) last November - I enjoy looking at it now that it's July, but can't help recalling just how cold it was the day I took it (somewhere between 0 and 10 degrees). This beautiful white coating of frost is mostly due to the mist generated by the Falls themselves. Made for a very pretty day, despite the cold. Hope you enjoy it!

Boy is this wonderful to gaze at on screen in the middle of a July heat wave. Though it really doesn't need that advantage. It's a great image in any case. Thanks for posting some much needed relief.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Spectacular shot here. Full screen is awesome and I do love all the white against that beautiful blue sky. Thanks for making me 'feel' a bit cooler. Very nicely done. Anita

In hot weather like today, it is nice to be reminded that there are times when it is cold. There is so much beauty in the snow. It is refreshing!

I love snow crusted objects, especially branches. They become very photogenic when they are like that. And that must have indeed been cold. But when it's 95 degrees here? I'll take it-for awhile.

Just when I was thinking if I never saw another snowflake it would be too soon, this picture changes my mind!

What strikes me is the man-made object, the light pole, in the midst of all the natural beauty, and blending so perfectly and complementing it, and all together shining in the sunlight...

Hello Don....Yep, its nearly that time of year again....This is a lovely picture you have taken and if I can take snow scenes like this then I will be more than happy.....Winter storms can be miserable. But eventually they clear up. And as they do so, they present wonderful photo opportunities...Well done.....All the best...Mick.
