This was yet another road in tornado alley where the sky chose to speak in the late afternoon over a farm house.

Wow that looks terrifiyingly turbulent! You have done an amazing job of capturing the movement and mood of this most menevolent of skies! Ive never seen anything like this in the UK. We do get tornados in the UK but not on the same size or scale as in the US. I really cant imagine what it is like to experience one! Fantastic capture!

This is an excellent capture! Having survived the tornados that hit Alabama in April of this year, this looks all too familiar to me. Though on a lighter note, it also reminds me of the movie Twister :)

wow, thanks everyone!! this house was at a 4 way stop that we came to. only house in the area. but the sky looked so ominous. the interesting part was although it looks as though a tornado would drop out in that spot, there really were no severe qualities in the clouds there in that spot at that time. I was surprised but it was true. Sure could fool someone though.
