Went to the transport museum in Glasgow today and there is like an old 1940s street in it. I got this shot and have spent a while trying to give it an aged look. I`m not to sure if I`m happy with it or not. Opinons are very welcome.

Ian, you should be happy with it, IMHO. This looks like a photo taken in the 1940s for sure. The sepia and the flash work perfectly. Frankly, this looks as though someone from the 40s had just gotten a new camera and was trying it out with a night street scene of their car, possibly proudly parked in front of their own business. At least, to me, anyhow.

I agree with the others, I think you did a really excellent job in giving it that aged or antique feel to it! I especially like the sun-faded sepia and how it blurs very slightly towards the edges...and the angle works really well here too. I love it and top vote!

I echo all the above. This is an awesome shot and great effects added to create an wonderful picture. It is in fact as if someone was back in the 40's taking this shot. Great, great work here from you . High marks all the way!!!!!

I think yu did a fantastic job on this, to make it look old. The car looks so short...I was thinking it would be longer...but I love the glass jars in the window, that just makes the image so good too. Thanx a lot for such a bit of nostalgia.

Hello Ian...The soft focus effects creates the right mood and compliments the subject really well...A very clever play on the theme makes this a successful image...By the way Ian, is the car a Morris?....All the best...Mick.

It's excellent. For once the sepia effect actually makes sense. Nice one.
