This is my entry to the B/W Challenge this week. Of course it's one of my favorite bridges to cross in the Hub Trail that's back behind our house. The total length of the trail is 24km/15 miles long. I haven't walked the whole length but I have done it on my mountain bike.

Keep your eyes moving & ears listening for the bear, they are active here lately. Also look out for wolves and coyotes they are around also.

Here is this image in colour" Click Here

Thought this would make a lovely B/W showing lots of detail and depth. Did the work in Adobe PhotoShop Elements 10 on iMac.

I'll be back a little later heading out to do a 9 mile walk in the beautiful weather we are having, that's if the dark clouds don't bring rain. Will play catch up when I return.

Hope you enjoying the view. Thank You in Advance for you comments, deeply appreciated.

Beautiful day to you, ♥ Skates

Wow, this scene is perfect for B & W. I like the depth you caught here & the bit of shadow play. Contrasts are wonderful & will do well in the B & W Challenge. Excellent, Pat.

Pat, this is perfect for the challenge, everything about is is superb in my opinion. We have a lengthy trail here too, but I have never been able to check it out, except for a small portion of it, and it's still in the works. Tigs♥ =^..^=

It is truly very lovely B/W image Pat. The sky looks super and so do the trees and the bridge. No, I am not ready to cross - I need a guarantee that I won't meet any bear on the way.

B/W works well for this one. I will keep my eyes open for the critters.

Somehow it is more dramatic in B/W. I thought something different when you said 'crossing over'. I'm glad I was wrong. lol Good one, Pat!

Great for the challenge Pat. I like the way one is drawn over the bridge and I want to know what's on the other side.

Since you put it that way. Nooo...I don't think I will cross over. The hike was enough but you added those critters along for the ride. You do it and be sure to take plenty of pictures. You captured a sharp image here and I love the sky Pat.

Not quite the Pearly Gates I was expecting to see given the title of this piece. A good perspective in the photo and a great view of the trail bridge Pat. Nice contrasts and lighting in the image.
