Here's a B/W version of the one I posted on 23/03/15 in colour: Click Here. This way you can compare them.

Thought this would make a good B/W Challenge, let me know what you think, please.

Created this image in Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and used iPiccy.com to make it smaller.

Thank You in Advance for your comments. Have a great day.

Very nice Pat and very artistic the rain droplets standout more in B&W and still containing all the detail with in the photo.Well done ,nice entry for the contest.

My preference would be the color one, Pat, but this black and white is pretty doggone good too! I would put it in the challenge for sure.

Pat, to me the comparison between a B&w version and a colored one, is like the comparison between apples and pears: they have their own charm but they aren't comparable.
So, with respect for being and entry for the B&W challenge, this one is the appropriate one. The rain drops are the well know cherries on the cake. Good one my friend!

Oh I like this Pat. The beads of water and the light hitting them just right makes it a good B&W image.

This looks lovely with the sparkling raindrops Pat. I think it is very well suited to B/w as it showcases the detail and lovely lines of the bloom to perfection.
A welcome addition to the BWC, thank you :)

Instead of saying which one I like best, I'll just say the best one is whichever one I am looking at. I can't decide. They are both fantastic...plus the original color version.
