Well folks can you guess where I was spending my day yesterday, (July 27, 2015). You only get 1 guess and that one does not count, lol. So that's why I wasn't around yesterday. The skaters and parents give me permission to use the images to upload.

One of the Senior Skaters performing a Sit Spin, real name is Jackson Haines Spin. He was the first skater to perform this back in the mid 1800's, Father of Figure Skating

It sure felt good to be in the rink yesterday because the temperature by noon was 35C/95F with a very high humidity, so after I was done at the rink. When I got home I had a long swim, dinner and swim again with wine at the pool side. Today the temperature is suppose to be higher then yesterday, bring on the heat because in 3 months it will be getting much colder.

I used layers to bring out more detail in this young skater and also to bring out the true colour of her sweater. On the base I did colour corrections. Used iPiccy.com.

Gee, this doesn't look like Jack Hannah from the Columbus Zoo. (lol)

Don't tell anyone, but I do enjoy watching competitive figure skating. Sounds like you were at the rink at the right time, avoiding the heat outdoors. Good one, Pat.
