" I' ve seen the sunrise in a thousand ways, I' ve seen the wonder of a summer storm, I' ve seen a mountain that touched the sky...... " Chris De Burgh
This is a great example of a personal image which is well-manipulated, so it isn't a mere snapshot. Going with black and white forces the viewer to see the shapes and light contrasts instead of the colors. In this case we see the eyes, the mouth, the hat. I like this image quite a bit.
Thanks for the heads up on this one. She's beautiful ~ so does she take after grandma or grandpa? The manipulation is great. This is one to be framed for sure.
Trivia ~ our eyes remain the same size throughout life but the ears and nose keep growing. Those big eyes that why babies are sooo cute!
It seems that the only way you can get a human image through here is to modify or distort it in some way. You grandaughter has a precious expression and a beautiful face, Joe. The hat is cute.
En regardant ce beau visage il me vient en tête une chanson "Prendre un enfant par la main, pour l'amener vers demain......." et dans la profondeur de ces yeux on voit de beaux lendemains..you are so pretty little girl...........
Hi Joe - Oh drat! The limitations of spellcheck... I said ears (correctly spelled of course lol), but I meant eyes! Thank God for the edit option - now corrected. Really, truly it was sincerely meant as a compliment. How's your French by the way? That comment by sunshine is very beautiful. :)
