Wow..who is that person? (Just got back from your link). She's got a great gallery, and you've done yourself proud on this rendition..and please don't say "yet another flower" to a person. such as myself, to whom some colorful flowers right about now are the best thing to see. We've no flowers, no leaves, no weeds....waaa...even the grass is dying :( ................... :)PJ

I think you have a great eye for this type of photography however, it looks as though you may have either exceeded your cameras limitations or you did a wee to much editing. The reason I say that is because of the graininess in your capture. This image is still a decent image.

I inherited a painting and a violin wich turned out to be a Rembrandt and a Stradivarius.Unfortunately,Rembrandt made lousy violins and Stradivarius was a terrible painter.

This is lovely and I don't mind the graininess. I wonder if you've done it as a deliberate treatement?

What I do not like are the black strips top and bottom. I like a flower to fill up my whole screen.
