After exiting the jellyfish exhibit at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and grandkids pulling at me to go see the sharks, I spied an exhibit of glass blown jellies. This giant clam rendering was among them. I was taken by its color and movement and with time for only one quick shot, I got lucky. Unfortunately I didn't get the artist's name for proper credit.

When I first saw the thumbnail in the VB I thought it was an abstract. Wonderful colours in this. Must have been a sight to see in real life. Thanks for sharing.

This is so beautiful on the desktop. It's just sitting there glowing at me. Thanks :)

Mellow colours and flowing lines... it does look like an abstract. Very delicate. There's a museum at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass. that has a display of glass flowers much like this.

Hard to believe this is glass - it seems to flow and move before my eyes. Wonderful wonderful colours and a unique and refreshing desktop.
Only nature could design such beauty and it was a clever artist who replicated it in glass.
