A pretty blue shell I found at Woodgate, QLD, Aus. I've emphasised the blue a little more than it was originally and obviously greayscaled out the rest!!! Hope you like, please comment and vote :)

Amazing how a blue shell can be that blue...was it lighter in reality? or a different shade? I like how the shell is in colour and the rest in grayscale..nice idea.

This image works really well. It is simple and uncluttered and definately not overdone. A crisp and detailed shot - with a sympatheic treatment, well done. A 10!

Wonderful contrast - the blue on grey really accents the color and details of the shell. Keep up the great work! :)

Very striking. The greyscaling really sets off the shell beautifully.

Wow the lines in the hand and the lines in the shell are really amazing looking. The color of course is miraculous. Nicely done.

Well taken and focused before you even started on color. Your color work really emphasizes the beautiful lines in the shell

You know, what I really like about this picture isn't the amazing contrast of color, but how detailed the lines of the shell contrast with the lines in the hand - and how similar they both seem at the same time. Shows how closely linked we really are with nature.

very pretty. i am a big fan of the hue of blue the shell turned out to be. it really brings out the character of the shell it self having it so bold.

Hi!
I was just looking through yuor images and look what I found! A shell! And a really nice one too! I love how you made everything greyish(I now that is not a word) and the shell really bright! It really shows what it is like to find a beautiful shell, great job!
