This lock was widely used when peat was transported in small ships. The canal was the only transport route in the peat

The range in lighting is great. It's got some HDR qualities in that respect. It feels rather quaint too.

With that lighting it could almost be a Thomas Kincade picture. (smile) Nice textures in the water and in the stones/bricks lining the lock. Love those soft, puffy clouds.
