I'd take it into Photoshop, and maby...darken it up just a tad, with a little contrast. But that's just Personal. Different strokes for different folks! :-)

A beautiful site, JoAnn. Composition is excellent.Couple of things, though. The frame, in this case, is a distraction. Possibly the size, but it looks better without. A slight reduction in gamma/brightness, a toch of contrast, and sharpen, and it's magazine material. You shot a 10. Just needs a touch up.

Nice shot. Lots of history at that location. I really like how you can't see the top of the steep cliffs that are in the background of your photo. Nicely done.

JoAnn - Thanks for sharing this fine image of a very special place. I spent one summer with one of my history professors touring historical sites in Greece and the Mediterranian. The wonderful word picture he painted as we walked up the mountain is something I will always remember. What an amazing place it must have been to visit in it's glory days. Thanks for rekindling that memorable experience.

Lovely shot - the imposing rock in the background is interesting - usually the ruins look so tremendous themselves, and here nature is just dwarfing it all.

Never been to Greece, but these kind of photo's do wants you to go there !

again highly contrasty (maybe a tiiiiiiiiiny bit too much) and highly saturated in the foreground which compares with the distant view which is both less contrasty and less saturated ... emphasising the actual distance

well composed with the bushes on the left and the stone elements more centrally
good diagonal division with the nice detail of the conifers centrally at the rear before it recedes into the distance

Nice shot. I wish there was a little more depth in this picture but overall very well done and memorable piece. Thanks for the background information, I studied a little Greek history and mythology in high school so this is interesting to see :)
