Located on a semi-sharp bend on a State Road in Ohio where if you blink, you'll miss it due to watching the road vs. the Scenery.

Some very important lessons I learned here:

One, Though the scenery is perty (Yes, perty), it still hurts when you walk a distance of 200 feet thru briar bushes (sticker Bushes).

Two, when stiching together photo's for a semi-panoramic shot, Photoshop only needs 3 instead of the 7 I took.

Three... After walking on a STEEP hill thru sticker bushes and avoiding large holes in the ground some 200 feet to where I shot this at, I learned that just to my right, there was a very nice path I could have used instead...

3 Layers of Saturation Correction (+10 percent each) & 1 Contrast Layer - I believe like 70 percent - with parts cut out that were too strong in some places. Suggestions for this landscape shot? Improvements? Too much of something? Not enough of another?

I like the natural contours but think the foreground detracts!

I agree, the colors in the trees are so beautiful, almost like a patchwork quilt, I think the brush in the foreground takes a little away from the image. I might have zoomed in further, or possibly moved a little to the left (I'm sure, farther from the path!) where it looks like there is less grass. It's a beautiful landscape regardless, and I'm just being picky :) Nicely done!

.Tedi - You're too kind - thank you

.Visitor99 & .Ollivander - comments but especially constructive critiques much appreciated. Trying to get the brush out of the way I believe really would have done it for this picture... good thing I don't live far from this spot... perhaps a good snow will provide another chance :)

A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road. --Henry Ward Beecher--

A great narrative explaining the process, I especially like point number three. Nice depth in the scene and lovely fall colours in the scenery. You could also possibly cut out at least half of the sky for composition purposes.

Criticism, like rain, should be gentle enough to nourish a man's growth without destroying his roots. — Frank A. Clark
