On a trip to Lulworth Cove, Dorset, I spoke to this interesting character. I asked to take his photo and he kindly obliged. He said it was nice for someone to ask instead of just people thinking they have the right. He was a colourful character that added to the scenery. Taken summer 2006

I really like this. I enjoy pictures of people that tell a story and this one needs no words. It's very cultural. The clarity, colors and DOF are great.

I really like the colors of the shells in the background, did you manage to get any shots of them close up? That is definatly quite the charecter you have found though. He seems cheerful though.

Judging by the finished ones, he sure is doing a wonderful job painting those shells! I really love his jewelry too. Nicely done grabbing this photo of art in the making & capturing the essence of beautiful craftsmanship.

Oh this is wonderful - like something right out of National Geographic! Don't you just love unexpected treasures like this? The colors all compliment each other wonderfully -I agree - the blues stand out and just make the composition! Thank you for sharing this.. I could look at it a long time.. You were good to ask permission, too - you gave him dignity by that.
