This flower makes me think of the sun and its petals are the rays. Nice on a dismal Fall day.

If the spots, leaves etc were cleaned up, I might actually live with this flower pic. Take that as a good compliment since I hate flower pics sooo much. The ratty looking flower is such a shame that I think I would PS it out. At least remove the drooping petal. Using a different camera angle, you may have been able to get a pic of a healthy and dying flower as a contrast thing.
