Jd I would try using a UV filter to try and tone down the glare! I would also like to be on that ride right now!! :) Steve

J.D. The lighting in this could not have been better. The golden hues are beautiful. 10/10 in the vb.

This might be as simple as changing the cropping. The foreground sunlight is overpowering the rest of the composition. The silhouette of the boat looks good. I find that I am even more interested in the background landmass like you showed in "Shades of Sunrise, Thetis Island, BC." There are some interesting colors in there and some depth. I see some layers of hillsides of varying colors that could have been explored by cropping out some of the foreground and showing more of the background and even some sky. This is a really good idea that, I think, could be improved by some vertical movement in the cropping.

Very good presentation. I agree with Roger Liss.

I know a few things could be done to your lovely photo to bring out the beauty even more, but I do like the photo so much. That time of evening is always such a pleasure, and I sure like the colour here. Verena

Fear less, hope more; Eat less, chew more; Whine less, breathe more; Talk less, say more; Love more, and all good things will be yours.
