the debris is usually pushed to the side by the glacier, thus forming the moraine. here, it just got dragged and left. of, course the "tracks" are quite huge. this photograph was also taken from the helicopter. you'll like it best full frame.

Really amazing. Very good photography. The clarity is astounding knowing you were shooting from a heli with wind and low clouds. There's a bold contrast without and loss of detail. Very cooling in the summer heat also! LOL anne :-)

Wow Jen, that's a far cry from the heat/humidity of Kauai :) but certainly is a beautiful clear shot and 'cooling' for us that are about to burn up. The crispness and clarity andt he way the clouds are just hanging are wonderful and it looks really good on the desktop. Thanks for sharing this. Anita
