this area is just footsteps from lake powell. it's a place that most people wouldn't bother exploring. no need to comment......... it's not fair for you to feel like you need to do it when i'm so far behind........i am looking though. thanks. THIS LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER IF YOU VIEW IT FULL FRAME.

~found in voting booth and had to comment~

Outstanding imagery with perfect thoughts on the overall comp!! Deep 'n' rich earthy tones exude and tantalizing texures really give the viewer much to take in!! The sky is an added bonus and really sets up this scape perfectly!!

Picture Purrrfect . You never see advertisements for string…they make string, yet you never see a commercial for string!!

I remember this very scene from last November Jennie. So glad you brought it out here with different perspective and colors. It's an amazing place to see and you've captured it so very well. Great composition.

I don't know why they wouldn't bother exploring this place. It seems fascinating to me.

I can understand why people wouldn't explore. It appears that you can see quite a lot just from this vantage point and most of it is an expanse of rock. It looks like it goes on for miles too.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Well, I'm way behind in my comments too, due to a change over of ISP providers, but I'm going to comment anyway because you're one of the people that I know I can count on to present a most lovely and appealing scene. Well, you know how I feel about your talent, so it's always a treat to see what you have in store and this one is no disappointment.
