Let me check in first (I thought I was first, but "Keifer" beat me to the punch)! I guess I was taking too long to type! The lighting is special...it is like the photos/paintings that come alive under a light that can be dimmed...if you squint you can see it chameleon before your eyes. I wish it were more centered or to the right so that my icons could feel less anxious..."green tea"...sounds like Bath & Body to me! Bill.

I can see where you got the green tea idea. The background makes me think of green tea. The flower itself is glowing from the center on out and the petals are so detailed. A very special rose and my very favorite color! Thanks, Jen!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Tea Roses are a special 'breed' more than a hybrid, but less than a 'floribunda'!..Now that education is over!...lol

Stunningly beautiful Jen..and you captured this perfect!

Gorgeous detail in your rose, Jen and as others have remarked, that central glow is mesmerising. Excellent capture.

Well, it's on my desktop now, and inside my puter in my flower folder....place of pride. This is got to be oen of the best roses I've ever seen. I only wish I could have seen it in person.

A very elegant flower with just a touch of light. Serve it with toast and raspberry jam.
