This is such an amazing flower, if nature had not invented it, i could not have imagined that such a flower could exist...

A brilliant image but it's a little too centered. Try cropping it to get the flower in one of the thirds areas. Overall a lovely image.

Not only the flower, but I love the surrounding foliage, especially the little tendrils. Beautifully sharp photo, Jen.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

If I hadn't seen one with my own eyes, I wouldn't be able to believe it was true. These are most fascinating and given your treatment gain added attractiveness.

That capture shows exactly why the flower has it's name.
Magnificant.

A gorgeous and interesting picture. Your detail and depth of field are exceptional. The flower gets its name from the religious symbolism attributed to it by Spanish missionaries to the Americas rather than any sort of romantic connotation.

How pretty that is! I don't ever recall seeing one like it, so this is just an added treat for me! Just beautiful!

That's a crazy cool wickedly fun piece of flora!! I don't know how many you took of it, but, be it me I'd have cranked out probably 50+ from all kinds of different angles. Macro heaven is calling!! You wanted to show the whole which is nice, it's just the greenery which surrounds takes over a wee too much.
