Wonderful! Strong composition, details, and just the right exposure and saturation. Our eyes go right to the brightest objects -- the drops of water -- the center of interest. Holding back the exposure and finishing the border gives it a beautiful work-of-art natural quality. Perfect!
You've done a fantastic job Jess. And you've obviously thought about it too: not shooting the rose, but the wet leaves instead. And that takes a good eye. Excellent image.
That's....absolutely amazing. I love that deep green, that the light shining on the water drops. You can almost smell the nice fresh smell of a rain. thanks for sharing!!
This really is very beautiful - well done indeed, you do very well with the water drops in your images and this one no exception - I have put it in my favourites :)
Hi Jess, I logged on yesterday and this image was one of the three "Featured Images". It immediately grabbed my eye, and I decided to take a look at it a little larger. Let's just say it ended up on my desktop as the wallpaper of the day for me and into my favorites gallery.
I went into your gallery and found many beautiful and well done photographs.
Keep up the good work.
some words were spoken..
promises slipped on desires were..
longings ,early mornings,..
now memories that vaguely figure..
dew drops ..what have they said..
whispered secrets..silent silence..
the suns rays were first to arrive..
of hope and desires that were expected to come..
dew drops that bring memories of that air..
I have to say that this is one of the most sublimely beautiful shots I've ever seen. The simplicity of the idea and the mastery of it's execution are breath taking. This has been a favorite since day one. You have a wonderful eye for composition.
