The view to the coast from a few km above Skogarfoss. It had been completely obscured by cloud on my way up, not encouraging me for the next day's journey, but as I turned to head back down, the clouds lifted for a few minutes and I got this view, 10pm beginning-darkness, daggered mountains crowned by the remnants of the drifting fog, and a hundred metres below me the powerful river forcing its way down the mountain. As usual I maxxed out the f/value and let the water drift its lines into the photo.

again a wonderful capture, I already love Iceland although I've never been there - and maybe never will go there :(

Wonderful picture. Love that fog and the water is amazing. Excellent as always.
Did you catch some horses in the wild on Iceland?

That is a wonderful atmospheric photograph. It has a sombre mood to it yet the river seems bright and lively. I like the way the river leads my eye through the scene letting me pause to examine areas of interest. Excellent.

Terrific picture of beautiful nature in a beautiful and rough country. I have never been in Iceland, this way, however, gladly want. Shining.

I am looking forward to finding this photo among the best in Caedes pretty soon, - ........as I viewed your work I was excited by its dramatic and painterly quality! You have indeed captured the mystery and your photo is exquisite and dare I say, sublime.

A most gorgeous landscape, full of drama. I love the darkness, the bleak aspect and the shining water. Fantastic work. :)
