This was an interesing old tree I came across on a family day out in Betws-Y-Coed in North Wales. I live in North Wales and am always astounded by the beauty of where I live. I caught this tree having a paddle, and hope you like it as much as I do.

Very interesting shot. I too really like to see trees in/near the water like. (Forgive this Yank, but what does "having a paddle" mean?) That is something I have never heard before. Thanks

I really like the green moss on the rock in contrast with the water.

A very nice picture Jo - the moss on the rocks is lovely and the tree such an interesting shape. You have composed it very well. This is another of your pictures that brings memories to me although it is many years since I visited Betywy-y-Coed. Your pictures of Conwy Castle are great, I especially like the view through the trees. Did you know I met the King Of Conwy Castle recently ? lol . He is HERE :)
