Lovely white colour! with a little pink in the middle! Maybe the background could be a little more blurred, but this is a good shot!

This shot looks like it may have been taken at night (although don't flowers close at night)? Anyhow, I really like the effect of the lovely white petals with the pink in the center. As you already noted, the focus is a problem here. I don't know how you obtained focus on this, but this subject would definitely be worthy of taking the time to focus manually - especially if this is a macro focal length since that's more critical. I believe in overriding autofocus, especially at such a close distance. Also I would suggest that, as your ccd sensitivity/film speed and light source allow, stop the aperature down as much as possible to increase the depth of field with a close shot.
