This a miniture rose that my youngest daughter brought me. I still have it dried out and preserved. Thank you for viewing and any comments you make. I appreciate it.
What a beautiful rose Jo - all dewy and with such shiny leaves. You have done well with this, red is difficult to get right. The grey background is perfect for it too.
Very nice how the rose comes out the too unbloomed roses. Maybe you could try another close up, with only the rose itself with the two unbloomed ones beside it.

There's nothing quite as touching as a gift from a son/daughter of your own. It reaches the heart in such a special way. I'm glad you were able to capture it so well in this photo as well as preserving it the old-fashioned way.
Nice to see kids still think of their parents in this way Jo.. keep up the good work ;).. Nice color and great b/g for this .. well done my friend...=D
How nice it is to finally visit your gallery, as I have had so many wonderful and much appreciated visits from you my dear! I thank you so very much, as your comments are always so wonderfully flattering, so sincerely offered!! :o)) It is a pleasure indeed to read them, as they lift my spirits each and every time Jo.
Now then, for this very lovely rose given to you by your daughter, it is so precious, and far beyond the gifted rose lies beneath, the sentiments offered to you, by a loving daughter, which mean so very much to you, as only MOM's can possibly know. You did a fine job my dear, of photographying the pretty rose, and keeping it dried, will store it safely for a long time. You will be able to view it with pleasure, at chosen times, and enjoy! Nice job, Jo.
Thank you once again for your sincere interest in my work. I can only hope that I am deserving.
