This is quite a famous grave in Conwy. There is a legend that there are seven children buried there after the family was wiped out in the plague and led Wordsworth to pen his poem ; http://quotations.about.com/cs/poemlyrics/a/We_Are_Seven.htm Hope you like it. Thanks for looking.

I do not need to follow the link - I know this poem my heart and often cried over it as a child. I never knew exactly what a 'porringer' was though :) I thought it was a little dog. Yes I was a thick child - but my memory musta been ok to still remember it. I had no idea there actually was a grave, so am delighted to seethis lovely shot of it. Thanks Jo.
Now I need to go and find some tissues. :(

Hi Jo, Lyn told me to come check out this post and, as a fan of the romantic poets (it's the English teacher in me) I'm glad I did. What a great post and thanks for the link to the Wordsworth poem.

An unusual and lovely grave site. Thanks for the link which I checked out. A sad yet beautiful poem. I learn quite a bit on this site. This image has all that is needed > clarity, colors and composing. Thanks Jo, for sharing this history :^)
