I think the thing that makes this such an interesting photo are the ripples and reflections on the water. Great idea to get right down close to the water to capture these. Nice job!

A shot like this one requires the photographer almost be at the right place at the right time. And with a camera. It's difficult to find conditions exactly right for a shot like this. You've got to have no wind, and beat all manner of humans and animals to the place in order for the water to be so glassy. The reflections in the water allows us to know what the sky we can't see looks like. The variety of greens is very nice, too. Did you bump these colors up a little? Excellent work.

Could be a really nice shot, just a little bit boring. It needs something, cropping, unusual color, just a touch of something extra to make it really exceptional. Really nice!
