Although it had snowed during the previous day.It was'nt till the following morning that I was able to explore the situation and bring the camera up to my eye with my freezing hand.This simple image is the result.

I love the soft glow of light on the tree trunks and foreground snow....very nice composition and winter feeling.

Nice lighting..this makes this picture so special. In my opinion there are only 2 really nice natural lightings, the morning and the late afternoon sun. A simple but nice winter scenery and you captured this moment very well.

You did good Joe to get your camera batteries jump started that morning let alone to take a captivating image such as this one! Oh, it was so cold. Okay, enough. Your image has a sense of stillness to it that comes with early morning (the few times I have seen it that is). You did a terrific job of coveying that to the viewer. Despite the cold, there is warmth here that the sun brings in. I like the brush in the foreground. Nice added touch. Well done my friend :~)

Thanks everyone.I can tell you it was so cold that I ran back to the car to escape the wind and cold.The park worker commented that I was'nt really dressed for the intense cold and he was right.
