This is a picture I took of a tree that stands in the field behind our house. The picture was taken during the ice storm that hit here in Oklahoma recently, and this tree stands out the most, both before and after the storm. My first thought when I saw the tree was that poor beautiful tree, and then I took this picture and thought, it's still a beautiful tree. Hope you all like it.

Very striking the way the color where the branches are broken stands out against the monochrome of the rest of the image. Well done!

I like how "warm" the inner core of the broken tree limbs are, surrounded and enveloped in ice. Great shot.

Archer, a stunning capture of this strong tree. I like appearance of the lacy ice on the branches, and the contrast of the colored broken branches against the rest of the tree. Very creative touch. Excellent clearness and details of the branches. Top marks for you!
