Basically, there is no subject focused on in the image. It is less interesting than an image that has a definite subject. Try to find something in particular in the scene that you can focus our attention on, put it in the golden square orientation and it will make a good composition. The image could use some contrast too. It looks like a scantly vegetated wet lands perhaps well known to the Seminoles? If you have questions about composition, etc. don't hesitate to ask some of the members on site whose images appeal to you. Most would be happy to tell you how they plan or post work their images and we all have plenty to learn. Your Old Florida image is quite nicely composed and is a beautifu tree. Cindy

Life is precious; therefore, do not waste it by doing things mechanically without love. We should try to put love into everything we do. - Amma

I agree with cynlee, also i feel that this photo is a bit out of focus. Looking at your other pictures, it seems like you are becoming better and better just remember the rule of thirds.

You had me looking for a four-legged subject with lots of teeth! A focal subject does lend interest, but this has its own charm too. I really like your framing with shadow and canopy. As for the technical aspects, focus is soft and distant objects do appear a little 'blown out'. All in all, you've set a mood not at all unpleasing, though. Thanks!

'Let's eat Grandma!' or, 'Let's eat, Grandma!' Punctuation saves lives...
