I followed this cardinal around the yard for about a half hour. I snapped about 30 shots, but not many came out well. I'm very new, still learning a lot with DSLR cameras. This one lacked a little bit of the detail i wanted.

Nothing wrong with this photograph except a tiny bit of noise [grain on the image] The cameras held straight while the focus, & exposure are all fine.

If you enjoy photography like me Josh why not treat yourself to a large zoom lens? I know your love it once you've got it. (o:

They move very fast and it is hard to capture a good shot. Well done.

Those red birds are very wary of people getting too close to them. I understand why it took you awhile to get a picture. You are a very patient person to track it down that long. Coaxing the birds with a feeder is the best way of getting a good close up as well as being a little hidden from their view. Having at least a 300mm lens can get a nice bird close up. Nice work.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.

I have a 200mm lens which I used to get this. I will eventually get better lenses in the future, I love wildlife photography and need something with more zoom and stabilization. Thanks everyone for the compliments!
