I support any procedure that allows photographers to express themselves,whether it involves color, black and white or digital technology.I like the composition and colors.It remind me of a satin quilt.Color and composition are inseparable,and i think you did a good job on both.

Hey Ken, I've got a few wallpapers that look similar, using the difference mode in layering and different gradient patterns in Gimp. Having messed around with it I appreciate it's not so simple to get this kind of symmetry working. The colours have a grungy edge which tends to elicit a love it or hate it response. Be warned, the voters in Caedes tend to favour dramatic landscapes regardless of the good qualities of other images shared here so there is plenty of good work with low c-index. We all just adjust by ignoring the c-index most of the time. :) Great art only comes when we do our own thing.
