Nacoochee Valley in northern Georgia, village of Sautee. Old native Indian's land before it was taken over by gold hunters. In this place Indians had been rounded up to begin the "trail of tears".

Us Americans like to forget certain aspects of our heritage. It is good to be reminded of some of the harsher realities of our history. Beautiful location and image.

I like this image a lot. Misty hills in the background look quite dreamy. The animals (owieczki ?) so real on the other hand.
Besides, the story is so fascinating.
