Beautiful shot! Sure looks like a popular tourist destination. I like how the wall continues to snake around on the mountains in the background, and I like how those mountains are a little hazy from the distance. The lighting is also nice. We spent a lot of time talking about the great wall in a history course I took this quarter called Legacy of Genghis Khan. Nice shot!

Wonderful capture! Really like the depth in it. It's also really sharp, you get the feeling you're on the top of a mountain. It's a little hazy indeed and that's gives it a spiritual sphere, just great work!

Kirsten - Really nice capture of an amazing creation. I liked the fine depth of field that allows the eye to follow the curves. Shame about all the people, though. They really detract from the enjoyment of the shear artistry and grace the builders used in creating this wonderous (and completely ineffective!!!) barrier to invading armies. Well done !

Great shot from a wonderful position. Was there a few years back and know how hard it is to walk there.

Marvelous view. It's amazing how you managed to capture so much in one picture! Excellent composition. Wonderful how you got so much of the twisting wall. Also good that so many folks were there-really adds the human touch. Top notch image!!
