It was much fun to make this one but it took a while... o_O I had a brain storm at the end of the edit and ended up with something far more coplex than I had in mind from the beginning. I had a lucky day I guess. :)

This one is very good too, but I definitely prefer the "Dark" image in this case... a rare thing for me! The colors just blend much better and the origin is better hidden in the dark image. Also the droplets in the dark image appear to cover the "surface' more evenly... I would be very interested to see if you could duplicate the effects you acheived in that image, it is one of the best manipulations I think I have seen in terms of technique.

Hmmm... Maybe I should have posted this comment on the image I am actaully talking about. Oh well...

Thank you Sam. I made a punch in the face kind of version with this edit. I have more sober versions but I decided to upload this one since I like it't feel. I was extremely happy about how "Dark Entity" turned out too. When I made my little mistake I was actually quite surprised of how good it looked. I'm very pleased to hear that you like the technique. As a newbe in the field of edits I love to get some positive feedback. :)

ooh very nice edit.. from the thumbnails i thought it was just a simple colour edit of some soert of strange cactus photo.... but a closer look reveals that your quickly mastering the interesting features of PS... lovely layering.. im all for layering.. but strangely i use it very little in PS its all to do with how i work... i use PS to geneate my visual GRiMery.. but a great deal of my image generation takes place in Microsoft Picture IT, i do the bulk of all my cutting and layers and composition work in .. actually it kind of muddles up and what program i use kind of gets decided by the very first starting image :D

Thank you Graeme. :D It took me several hours to get it right. It was particularly tricky to get the last layers blend into the firts ones in the "flowers" central parts. I had to do some very odd clonings between the different layers. I got it right in the end though. :) I wish I knew more of how you do your stuff since I really like what you come up with. ;-) (I'm pretty sure though that I couldn't handle your technique anyway so I don't know why I bother to think about it really. :P)
