very nice (and sinister) close up shot. the lace cloth reflection in the eye is a particularly nice touch :-) the matt black frame suits it very well.

Great micro shot and I guess probably very good equipment too. The lace cloth reflection in the eye - awsome. The only think that distracts me is the fuzzy hair. Anyway - congratulations.

Very nice composition of the image- I like the effect you produced alot! The lace reflection in the eye is cool- but the reflection of the photographer and camera isn't. ;) I like the fur and the deep green of the eye. Overall, very well done.

Well, I spent a long time viewing this one and trying to figure out what you captured reflected in the eye. Then, I read Phil's comment. Many eye images can be intimidating while this has a gentle calm feel to it. Nicely composed.

Very nice picture. The fact that we can see you (kind of) does detract just a tad but on the other hand the reflection of the lace is very cool. I like how the frame is not centered. Great job! Cheers.

That is totally amazing. I love the rough texture of the cat fur contrasted against the glassy reflection of the eye. i like the border too.

Beautiful colors and lines in this cat, looks like its larger and wilder cousins. Like the sleepy lid cutting the pupil in half and the reflection adds an unexpected pattern.

Who would'a ever thunk it? I would not have had evough creativity to shoot a cat's eye and call it a composition but I like it and it is! I will keep it and it will find it's way on my desktop from time to time.

Just saw this in the voting booth. Top marks, of course, but I am wondering what the arch-like streaks at the top are all about?

I think those arch-like streaks are whiskers or something like that.

anyway, great shot, I like how you can see individual hairs around the eye. :D
