How did you get such an interesting shot? The subject is quite clear, there is no background to distract from the subject, and the subject isn't centered. All in all a very nice shot.

And lastly, View an image, vote on it, then bloody comment on it. How else are we artists to know what you like or don't if you do not tell us?
This is one of the best macro shots I've seen for a while - very creative and technically perfect presentation of a quite simple subject. Both thumbs up and definetely a 10/10 !!!
Great use of the light. Perfect how the only thing you can see is the stick, with the rest being black. Would be better with a larger dof though. I personally think all of the numbers should be sharp. This is something that i didn't expect to be so difficult when shooting macros but it is. I would probably say its the hardest thing about a macro.
In other words-- There are five reasons to keep going...and only one to turn around!! Soooo...keep driving! :-P This is very well done. I love the lighting! High marks from this viewer!
I saw this in someone's fave gallery, and wanted to drop by and say what a great idea this was.. as for desktop use..yeah, and I'd even go so far as to say it's pro quality, like something I'd see on a magazine ad.
Hi,my name is Rob..ok, so I'm not the greatest at replies and comments. Sorry. For anyone needing to contact me, my email is back up in my profile. >> my cluttered mess of a gallery
