This is one of my first shots ever with my new EOS 400, and my first image here at Caedes. The Tyholt Tower (Tyholttårnet) is located in Trondheim, Norway, and is used by Norsk Rikskringkasting (the Norwegian Broadcasting Company). On the second observation deck at about 85 meters, there's a restaurant with a rotating floor, which uses one hour on "one lap". The tower is 124 meters in total.

Yes, this could use a little straightening. It is quite good for a night shot which can sometimes be troublesome.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Ditto on the straightening advice, but yes, this is a great night shot! I also like when someone gives some info. like you did, about the buildings or focal points in a picture - it adds to the interest. Would also like to see some closer detailed shots of this also at night, it is very dramatic,
Welcome to Caedes!

I think you got it right. Rotating the tower would tilt the horizon. Welcome to the site. You're off to a great start.

Hey!

Thanks for the feedback. I'll keep that in mind for my next shots. As I said, I'm quite new at this, so i do need som practice :)

And yes. I'll try to take a closer shot of it :)
