Geez, I haven't even commented on it yet and it's already on my desktop and in my faves. I'm going to have to start a Ruby's Collection folder to take it out to savor when the winter winds begin to howl. Your flower pics are always so lovely, but I feel the effect that you used on this one is perfect for the colors and the antique feel of the roses you've presented. I just love that glowing effect. Again, I just commented on your fuschia pic, and you've once more utilized your talent in composition so that this arrangement is something one wants to keep viewing and a lot of that is owing to the weighted effect on the left as opposed to the lighter of the buds on the right. Where in the world did you get those perfect brown leaves? They don't look "dead" at all, so I have to assume that's their color, or perhaps you've touched them up and perhaps they are actually a dark red, but they are a lovely addition to the total effect, and give it an even more "old time" feel...You've outdone even yourself..*hmmmm, I think I said that last time..* hope they have some flowers left out in NB for you to discover :)PJ

I like the subtle colors of these roses. yet, they are still attractive. Like the background also. Good work.

Beautiful. I love the way you blurred around the periphery of the blooms! Gorgeous work!

True artistry, Ruby. This captures the "spirit" of roses more than a common photograph ever could.

Ruby you are the queen of rose photography! This one is so wonderfully soft and alluring. The colors are delicate and moody at the same time. Your composition is perfect. I don't understand the c-index thing. This (and many others I've seen) deserves a much highter rating. It will definitely get a 10 should I get to vote on it.

I love this bouquet, Ruby. As usual it is very well done, and all I can add to the above comments is that it is so pretty that it reminds me of the wedding of a very close young friend we attended a couple of weeks ago.....Neil
