Terrific post Ruby. The depth and textures are amazing. The composition and fall colors in the background add a lovely feeling to this beautiful view. Very well done and so glad you shared this one.

The glassy line of the top of the water was a wonderful choice in presenting this. It's so easy to get above a falls and try to take the water sliding over it from that perspective, but this is a special view, and does not pick up on any of the distractions that sometimes arise when taken from a different angle. Seeing all that smooth water just waiting its turn to splash over the edge creates movement, excitment and a visual edge that is enriching. The speed with which you picked up the water on its course from one elevation to the next, down, down ever closer to the foreground creates a creamy flow that I've seen and enjoyed before. This sort of treatment is best suited to a dreamy type of post that creatively plays with the water and turns it into its own work of art. The clarity you present elevates the gentle color from the trees in the background to the strong images of the stone off the screen and opens it for full enjoyment. Even though the composition slightly leans off to the right a bit horizontally, the natural positioning of the rock and the angle is well deserving of a high five for construction. Speaking of construction...where's the bridge? ..lol.....Nicely done :)PJ

What a unique perspective. Were you down in the water? I'm not sure I get the title. Love the eye level view of the lake's surface. This is really different. Good focus. Nice work.

Excellent capture Ruby and I really like the way you have slowed the shutter speed to get the motion effect on the water. WELL DONE and thank you for sharing, Don
