This has been sitting on my HD for a while, why I never uploaded it I don't know. Anyhow, it always reminded me of a clutch of feathers found in a November field, thus the title. Please comment & let me know what you think.... :o) Lauren

Hi Lauren, my oh my, why you hesitated in posting I will never know!! This is gorgeous, as my friend Mimi would say, drop dead gorgeous! I am not able to judge this image from having had experience with these programs used, but it is for certain, by my standards, top-notch work!! Very nice and the colors are awesome! It has a sophisticated look, like I imagine it's author to look!! Sincerely, Marilyn

WOW Lauren,To me, this looks like a bird about to land . It is an amazing image. You`ve got the beak, the wings .the feathers, the legs, the lot. Simply amazing.

Well Lauren...it seems as if you were the only one who weren't sure about uploading this image. Keeping it on your desktop forever and not sharing it with us would have been a great mistake. I'm glad you finally made up your mind and let us watch your beautiful image. The image title is just perfect, my first thought was of some feathers of a pea-cock.

Hi there Lauren. What a neat creation you have here. I love the spread of the "feathers". It appears to me like a peacock fan. I like the subdued colors that you used. Your hesitation is my gain!
Thanks for stopping by for a cup of coffee & visiting ~cardinal country~. The birds were everywhere on my deck during the snowstorm. It was a bit difficult to focus though. My camera kept grabbing the falling flakes as the object (especially since the birdies kept hopping around!).
Your continued support, comments and critique are deeply appreciated. Thanks dear :~)

very creative, it seems the formation of one bird or many birds, the wings get a sutil and quiet motion to create themselves...its what I see.... :) ....great fractal :)

I'm usually not too into fractals, but this one is just plain beautiful. I applaud your excellent work!

Visually stunning.

That focal point is amazing. Great colours.

I can and did get lost in this one ... pleasantly so.
